POWER GENERATION SOLUTION
PTO Generators
AgriQuip's PTO Generators offer a cost-effective, top-quality power generation solution for your emergency power needs.
The advantage of the PTO generator is that it does not have another diesel engine to maintain - your tractor provides the motive power to run it and seeing as you probably already have a tractor, why go to the unnecessary expense of buying and maintaining another engine... Why not use your tractor?
World-class digital automatic voltage regulator to automatically control output voltage
Providing more accurate power delivery.
3 phase protection mccb and single-phase protection mc.
Ensures good visual clarity from the tractor seat.
Giving you piece of mind
High quality PTO drive shaft is included
Heavy-duty and oil-filled Bima step up gearbox.
Single & 3-phase outlets (GP115 has a terminal board), all meeting NZ Standards for electrical socket outlets.
Mounted on a super strong galvanised frame

FAQ'S
What size Generator do I need to run a Dairy Shed?
The best way to establish what size generator you need to run you dairy shed is to ask your electrician to give you a total power requirement for your shed in kVA. This can be done by adding up the starting and running Watts of each appliance, motor, pump and other electrical devices or computers. The total will give you the minimum you will need, add 12% onto this as a buffer and you have your ideal generator size. To convert from Watts to kVA, Watts / Power Factor (0.8) = KVA so, Watts / 0.8 = KVA
Can I safely run all sensitive electronic components with the PTO Genset?
Yes, our PTO Generators can be used to power all sensitive electronics such as computers etc as they produce such clean power, far cleaner than the grid. AgriQuip generators come standard with a digital AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) which maintains the generator output terminal voltage at a set value, or simply put, it stabilises the power output.
Who manufactures these PTO generators?
Our generators are made by Green Power Systems SRL in Italy, with the alternator being made by Mecc Alte, the largest independant alternator manufacturer in the world and also an Italian company
What's the advantages of a PTO driven generator over a diesel or petrol powered one?
- Cost-effectiveness: PTO generators are often more cost-effective compared to standalone diesel or petrol generators. Since they use existing power sources (e.g. your tractor), there is no need to invest in a separate engine, reducing the overall cost of the system.
- Maintenance and service: With PTO generators, there is no need to maintain a separate engine as the power source. This can simplify maintenance and reduce the number of parts that need servicing or replacement, potentially leading to cost savings over time.
- Fuel efficiency: PTO generators utilize the power from an existing engine, which is usually optimized for fuel efficiency. This can result in lower fuel consumption compared to dedicated diesel or petrol engines in standalone generators.
- Versatility and availability: PTO generators can be used with a variety of equipment that has a PTO connection, such as tractors, trucks, or industrial machinery. This makes them highly versatile and easily adaptable to different settings, especially in rural or agricultural areas where tractors are commonly used.
- Reduced noise and emissions: Since PTO generators use the existing engine, they generally produce lower noise levels and emissions compared to dedicated diesel or petrol generators. This can be beneficial for environments where noise and emissions need to be minimized.
- Power output flexibility: PTO generators can be coupled to different power sources, allowing users to adjust the power output based on the specific needs of the application. This flexibility can be advantageous in various scenarios.
